Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish?

The Missouri Department of Conservation is hosting a free fishing event for kids this weekend! Join us at Belladonna Pond at Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery to celebrate Free Fishing Weekend in Missouri! Children 15 years and younger have the chance to fish for sunfish and catfish, and have the opportunity to keep some of the fish they catch! If you have your own equipment please bring it, but if not loaner fishing poles will be available. Masks are encouraged but not required.

Come join us this Saturday where you can get their first taste of what it’s like to go fishing! They’ll learn about bait, casting techniques, knots – everything they need to know before going out on their own next time!
