Wingapalooza 2026 is Saturday, November 7 at the Springfield Expo Center. Doors run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and your ticket gets you wing samples from local restaurants, all in one building.

What to expect
Wingapalooza is a wing tasting event. Restaurants and businesses from around the Springfield area set up booths and hand out samples, and compete for the event’s awards, including a Facebook Choice Award voted on by the public. Go hungry.
Expect a crowd. Plan on lines at the popular booths. There is live music and a wing eating contest during the day; the schedule is on the official site.
The night before, on Friday, November 6, Sertoma also hosts a Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament with live music at the Expo Center. Details are on the official site.
Tickets
Advance tickets are $25 online through wingapalooza.com, or $30 at the door on the day. You can also buy them at Hy-Vee and Rapid Robert’s stores.
Tips for going
- Buy ahead. It saves $5 and you skip the ticket line.
- Eat light beforehand and wear something you do not mind getting sauce on.
- Bring wet wipes. Napkins run out.
- Get there early if you want the shortest lines.
Where the money goes
Sertoma runs Wingapalooza as a fundraiser. The Springfield Sertoma Clubs have supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield since 1941 and focus on at-risk youth in southwest Missouri. So the wings are for a good cause.
A bit of history
Wingapalooza is a long-running Springfield tradition. In 2020, Sertoma ran it as the Wingapalooza Crawl instead of one big event. That version used a booklet of vouchers you could redeem at participating restaurants through the end of the year. The big gathering is back but details can change.
